Building Cars on a Budget
Our Story: We Build Memories

After 25 years of building rigs in obscurity, best friends Josh and Alex launched Days of Pain and Victory (DPV) in 2018. We trade the polished “influencer” aesthetic for grit and humor, proving you don’t need a massive budget or a pro crew to build something incredible.
Our channel runs on a simple formula:
🔧 The Pain: The struggle of bringing old junk back to life. From busted knuckles to roadside repairs, we don’t hide the misery—we find the humor in it.
🏆 The Victory: The payoff. Taking the car you bled over on an epic adventure. It isn’t about a perfect show car; it’s about the story.
We are the authentic, unfiltered story of what it’s really like to be a gearhead
Our Mission: Inspiring the Guy on the Sidelines
Our goal is to give courage to the 25-45 year old guy who’s scrolling, wishing he could start his own project but is held back by a limited budget, a small garage, and the fear of not knowing where to start.
We show him that if two regular dudes with day jobs and families can do it, so can he. We’re not experts; we’re proof of concept.
